Cidade dos Homens (City of Men)

Before City of God, Fernando Meirelles, Paulo Morelli, and Kátia Lund created a Brazilian tv show called City of Men about two kids, Laranjinha and Acerola. They used footage from the tv show, in which Laranjinha and Acerola are kids combined with new footage to create Cidade dos Homens.

I read Slaugterhouse 5 in 9th grade and although I didn't understand half of it, it changed my perception of the world I lived in.




At 14 years old, this was my favorite drawing from Slaughterhouse 5, somehow it stuck with me.
